Two Georgian bases closed in Afghanistan

Two bases used by Georgian Armed Forces in the ISAF mission in Afghanistan will be closed down, Defense Minister Irakli Alasania said on the Positsia talk show.
Alasania said the bases would be closed following recommendations by the armed forces and added the base where the June 6 insurgent attack claimed the lives of seven Georgian soldiers had been among those scheduled to close down in a space of three to four days.
