Service members of the Georgian Armed Forces and their partners in the ISAF mission paid respects to the memory of three Georgian soldiers killed in the May 13 insurgent attack on the 42 Battalion base. The ceremony took place at Lazernick base in the Helmand province of Afghanistan.
Sergeant Zviad Davitadze, Corporal Aleksandre Kvitsinadze and Corporal Vladimer Shanava died during the insurgent attack. Their bodies will soon be brought to Georgia.
