Yes, a wonderful book is out, just out of press, still warm and fresh, which not only the opera buffs but the entire country had been waiting for quite a while to appear. The book is lovingly bringing back to life the innumerable precious memories of the Ataneli family. This is a story of life and work of an outstanding Georgian singer of our times, titled ‘Bravo Lado Ataneli’ – a direct consequence of mutual creative work and shared personal life of the well-known conjugal couple Lado and Manana.

Is foreign education good or bad? This is the question that is not much debated in our country as it is unanimously considered as something overly desirable, something that everyone strives for. Children grow up believing that getting their university degree abroad should be their lifetime goal. Most of them encouraged and supported by their parents try their best to make the dream come true in every possible way. Truly, for those keen to study, getting education abroad is undoubtedly the best option. And the lucky ones, given the opportunity to be educated in a foreign country, get equipped with all that they require and fully prepare to enter society as well adjusted adults, but which society? Do all of them come back ready to share their knowledge and qualification with their fellow countrymen and work for the welfare of their country?
