Tbilisi days will be held in Prague on 22-24 April. Culture Events Centre of Tbilisi City Hall informs that Tbilisi Days will be opened officially on 22 April with a concert from the ensemble “Georgian Voices”. Prague City Hall will hold a photo exhibition of Old Tbilisi rehabilitation.

For the first time restoration of Georgian historical monuments in Turkey, in the historical Tao-Klarjeti has begun. The process is observed by Georgian art historian, a research fellow of Giorgi Chubinashvili National Center of Georgian Art History and Monument Protection Dr. Irine Giviashvili. Georgian Journal interviewed art historian, who resides in Ireland.

On March 27, 28 and 29, on the initiative and organization of Ilia State University Art Scientific Research Center, theater video festival was held at Tumanishvili Film Actors Theatre to mark the World Theatre Day. The festival T+V was launched in 1997, on the initiative of Caucasian International Foundation.

Oshki, Khandzta, Parkhali, Otkhta, Ieni Rabati, Doliskana, Artanuji and Akhizi citadel - this is list of the monuments that are very important for Georgian history and architecture alongside with a number of other monuments on Tao-Klarjeti territory in Turkey. First time in history, they began restoration of two monuments - Oshki and Ishkhani, though there are some concerns and controversy around this issue. Giorgi Kalandia, historian, director of State Theatre, Music, Cinema and Choreography Museum talked to Georgian Journal about it.

Young Georgian Theatre Painter from the Tbilisi Academy of Arts Barbare Aslamazi became winner among 20 other world costume designers in the competition organized by Sinag Arts Foundation, ITI-UNESCO Dream Center Philippines in terms of Prague Quadrennial. World Costume Festival will take place in Philippines from April 27 till May 2.
