“Moscow” is considered to be one of the most popular spots for entertainment in Tbilisi. The club with a capacity of five hundred visitors is packed on every weekend. Beside Georgian singers, visiting young people can often listen to invited performers from Russia.
It was hard to hear Russian songs in Georgian restaurants during the recent years, but now their visitors are free to have Russian music if they please.
For those wishing to hear Russian performers live, numerous artists from the country visited Georgia to hold concerts during the recent months. Halls have been packed, while songs have been performed in encore for the Georgian audience that missed Russian music.
Beside nighttime entertainment and artists from Russia, the recent times have seen an increased demand for the Russian language as a job requirement. Where you would have found it hard to qualify without the knowledge of English, now speaking Russian stands as one of the major terms.
