US ambassador runs in Tbilisi's marathon dedicated to Boston tragedy

Marathon with some tens of participants was held in Kustba Lake in solidarity with Boston tragedy. Representative of the companies, to whom environmental protection and healthy life style promotion is important joined the marathon, including: “Media Palitra”, “Wissol Group”, “Aversi”, “Sno”, “Heidelberg Cement”, newspaper Financial and others.
Citizens who express to solidarity with the Boston tragedy victims took part in the 5km distance running. Participants of the marathon condemn violence and terrorism that took place at Boston marathon finish line.
U.S. ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland joined the marathon and thanked Georgian people for supporting Americans.
On 15 April, terrorist act was carried out at Boston marathon finish line, killing 3 and injuring 176.

Results of NDI’s survey
Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili continues to be the most popular political leader in Georgia, and 60 percent rate the Georgian Dream Coalition as the “party” closest to them, according to the findings of a public opinion survey released here today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI). Fifty-six percent named the United National Movement (UNM) as the strongest opposition party in the country. Ivanishvili scored a 75 percent favorable rating, with Speaker Davit Usupashvili increasing his favorable rating to 66 percent, followed by Members of Parliament Tina Khidasheli, Eka Beselia and Zviad Dzidziguri. Minority Leader Davit Bakradze is the most popular opposition leader, whose favorable rating increased to 48 percent.
