Tengiz Gunava intends to continue political activity after leaving prison

National Movement leaders and Movement Free Zone representatives applauded Gunava outside No. 9 penitentiary facility and congratulated him on leaving the prison. They label Tengiz Gunava’s arrest as politically motivated.
The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili pardoned Samegrelo governor Tengiz Gunava today (Constitution of Georgia, 73-e article, “o” subtitle). President’s decree was published on the web page of the President. The Presidential Pardon erased his conviction.
