The President’s Administration is concerned with the imprisonment of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti District Governor Tengiz Gunava, Administration Manager Andro Barnovi said during a special briefing on July 12. Barnovi said the court had not had “even the slightest basis” for issuing imprisonment for Gunava.
Tengiz Gunava has been sentenced to four years in prison after the court found him guilty of unlawful appropriation of state property.
