News about well- known Georgian singer Soso Pavliashvili
25 July, 2013
Georgian singer Soso Pavliashvili speaks about the large amount of money he lent Avtandil Aduashvili. “3 years ago, Avto arrived and told me that he was going to take out a loan and asked for my help in paying the loan rates and that he would return it to me.
Of course I agreed and in 2009 I sent 60,000 USD only the loan rate. The next year he came and said he took a second loan and asked for more help and said he would return them together. I agreed and sent 80,000 Euros for the loan rates. The third year, the same happened and I sent 80,000 Euro, it was also money for the loan rates. I sent 60,000 USD and 160,000 Euros in three years only for the loan rates. Avto was going to pay the loan from June 2013 and I had to pay before as I promised. I don’t know what the amount of the loan was, I didn’t ask, as I believed and do believe in Avto. I do know that I sent 7,000 Euros monthly. At last he decided to open an entertainment centre for children, where I had a share too and I sent 200,000 USD. It’s what he took as a loan, I don’t talk about what I gave him apart from this. I’m asking you; name an Olygarch that would lend so much money to his friend or even a brother, not to mention to just grant it? It was a loan, though I consider that it is not less help than granting him the money”, Pavliashvili said in interview with the paper “Kviris Palitra”.
The singer denies any connection with the murder of Aduashvili and says that his death didn’t benefit him, as he had his loan.
The singer comments about the statement of Aduashvil’s mother that Pavliashvili and Aduashvili had to meet in Yerevan on 24 November and that’s why they got rid of him as the meeting didn’t have to be held.
“They want to influence the jurors by this and they are also struck paying the loan and they lack the granted money, nobody said anything till 1 June. Now I’m not sending the money and everyone from the family and his so called friends are irate about it. They deceive and say so many filthy things about me to Mrs. Nana”, he said.
