A group called “Love Unites Us” staged a flash mob performance outside the Parliament in Kutaisi in support of the April 19 demonstration planned by the National Movement. The flash mob was also attended by parliamentary minority representatives. A member of the National Movement Chiora Taktakishvili said her colleagues knew nothing about the performance and were caught by surprise upon exiting the parliament.
The performers said they wanted to express their wish to see the parliament remain in the new building in Kutaisi – as opposed to its possible transfer to the previous parliament building in Tbilisi – and support the European direction and the integration process of the country.
