February was also a month of cubs at the zoo, with lions Simba and Nala having three, although one of the newly born lions died at the birthgiving, while another - named Kato - suffered from several intrinsic illnesses including eye cataract, operated by ophthalmologist Mikheil Omiadze, and died later.
