“I have moved to common apartment of my mother’s” – Mikheil Saakashvili

President Mikheil Saakashvili said the recent media information about his residence in entertainment center Batumi Plaza for resting was not true. Saakashvili said he had left the Bobokvati Governmental Residence several months ago by his own wish and had moved to his Batumi apartment belonging to his mother. The President’s statement was released on his official Facebook page.
Saakashvili’s security service employees only accepted reporters from Rustavi2 and Info 9 channels for receiving comments about the matter from the President on June 26. The security team did not let in reporters from Interpressnews and Palitra TV, Imedi, Channel 9, Adjara Television, Channel 25, Public Broadcasting Channel and Batumelebi newspaper, citing their “late arrival” to the meeting.
