On June 21, the Exhibition Center Expo-Georgia hosted the 12th exhibition of medical technologies, laboratory equipment and dentistry. Simultaneously, it gave grounds to the 7th International exhibition called Tbilisi Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine 2012. The expositions were on until June 24.

The organizer was Expo-Georgia itself. The supporters were Tbilisi City Hall and Georgian Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Protection. The expo featured products and services from Georgia as well as from foreign countries – almost 20 in number. The other participant states were: Azerbaijan, USA, Belarus, Germany, Denmark, Turkey, Japan, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Poland, France, Armenia, Switzerland, Czech Republic and People’s Republic of China.

The display was opened by vice Mayor Andria Urushadze who addressed the media: “Here are the companies, many of which have been funded by the City Hall. This exposition is very important as it creates new jobs and generates new material capacities. Tbilisi City Hall, together with Georgian Ministry of Health, will continue to support similar events and exhibitions in the future.”

Sixty-one expo stands displayed equipment for laboratories, hospital facilities, diagnostics, dentistry, ophthalmology, aesthetic medicine, decorative and medical cosmetics, skin diagnostics, hair and nail care means, perfumery, equipment and accessories of beauty salons and fitness centers, etc. provided by nearly 100 companies and enterprises.

“It is very interesting for us, as more consumers are getting aware of our activities. We acquire new partners as a result of the exhibition inside and outside the country; it is a very good place for enhancing our publicity,” Nino Kalichava, Manager of Dental Georgia, specializing in dentist materials and equipment, commented.

Turkey was one of the foreign countries represented at the expo. One of its representation was the cosmetic company Kuteks, specializing in women and baby natural cosmetics.  Mustafa Kahraman, Area Sales Manager of Kuteks told Georgian Journal: “We are here, at the Tbilisi Fair for the first time. We are exporting our products to Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Russia. We are a manufacturing company, i.e. we produce everything ourselves.”

Nino Bitskinashvili is from Georgia and her company imports goods from three different countries. “We have a wide range of products and accordingly, it is difficult for us to inform our consumers about everything. Therefore, this Fair gives us a unique opportunity to present everything we have and find ways of communication via direct marketing, as well as find your partner companies. We have all sorts of products – for professional care, massage care, cosmetics for ladies, men and children. At our stands, we display the products of France, Italy and Poland,” Ms. Bitskinashvili, product manager of Baby Line told Georgian Journal.

CC Kosmetik is another Turkish company, which is one of the leading manufacturing companies in the country: “Our brand is called Bargello. We have 110 stores in Turkey, 7 stores in Romania, as well as in Holland and Russia, two stores in Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, also in Northern Cyprus, Macedonia and Germany,” Yeliz Osen, Foreign Trade Manager told us.

The exposition gave the visitors the opportunity to meet the professionals of the said spheres, listen to the pieces of advice from highly qualified professionals and get acquainted with modern technologies. At the same time with the exhibition, presentations, seminars and master-classes also took place at Expo-Georgia.
