Toto Cutugno sang specially for Salome Katamdze at Jurmala award ceremony

Gala concert and the award ceremony of the New Wave 2013 contest was held in Jurmala on July 28. Georgian singer Salome Katamdze was behind the winner by only 1 point, receiving 356 points and taking second place. She received a € 30,000 cash award.
The judges Toto Cutugno, Igor Nikolaev and Maksim Fadeev went to the stage to award the Georgian singer, praising her talent.
Famous Italian singer Toto Cutugno addressed Salome Katamadze with encouraging words, saying he had taken part in Sanremo music festival 16 times and took second place seven times. He said that this second place would open her up to greater success, which she truly deserves. Afterwards he hugged the singer and sang specially for her.
