Intermediate Parliamentary election under way in Georgia

Representatives of diplomatic corps have been monitoring the process in the Nadzaladevi district, with Ambassador of the United States Richard Norland, Ambassador of the United Kingdom David Moran and Ambassador of the Netherlands Pieter Jan Langenberg visiting the polling stations 24, 25 and 26, organized at School Number 10.
Majoritarian MPs are being elected in Nadzaladevi district of Tbilisi, Bagdhati district of Imereti and Samtredia district of Imereti region.
9 candidates are running for the mid-term parliamentary elections in Nadzaladevi district: Tamar Kordzaia – Georgian Dream, Kakha Kukava – Free Georgia, Mirza Davitaia - United National Movement, Giorgi Gugava – Labour Party, Giorgi Liluashvili – Merab Kostava Society, Gia Nemsadze – Labour Council of Georgia, Khvicha Asanidze – Movement for Fair Georgia, Ioseb Manjavidze – initiative group, Zviad Chitishvili – intiative group.
8 candidates are competing in Baghdati district: Paata Kiknavelidze - Georgian Dream, Vladimir Tsikoridze - United National Movement, David Sharabidze - National-Democratic Party, Archil Ioseliani - Labour Council of Georgia, Lasha Tamazashviili - Freedom - Zviad Gamsakhurdia’s Way, Paata Bakuradze - Movement for Fair Georgia, Zurab Mskhvilidze - initiative group, Roman Robakidze - initiative group.
The candidates of Samtredia district are the following: Giorgi Kakhiani - Georgian Dream, Emzar Shubladze - United National Movement, Moris Kobulia - Labour Council of Georgia, Badri Gogelashvili - Freedom - Zviad Gamsakhurdia’s Way , Gocha Badzgaradze - Movement for Fair Georgia.
Polling stations will be closed at 20:00.
